Marwa, a Syrian refugee and devoted mother, always dreamed of making clothes for her daughter. But when conflict forced her to flee Syria, that dream was put on hold- A reality shared by countless refugees who leave their homes behind, uncertain of what the future holds.

Her story is one of resilience, but also a powerful reminder that refugees are not just survivors—with the right support, they can be active, contributing members of society.

Thanks to Netherlands PROSPECTS funding, Marwa’s talent for sewing blossomed into a sustainable business—one that not only supports her own family but also uplifts fellow refugees,  offering them both income and a sense of community.
